Credit Card Reader for iPhone

We’re excited to announce that Credit Card Reader for iPhone is now available! The iPhone 3G/3GS version is shipping now, with the iPhone 4 version coming later this year.

All you need to do is slide your iPhone into the card reader and you can start doing swiped transactions. The reader is designed for speedy and high volume transactions with a high-accuracy read head and sturdy construction. It’s tested and certified by Apple to be compatible with iPhone as part of the Made for iPhone program.

    I just got my promotional reader. Arrived in a reasonable amount of time, thanks. Question… do I have to charge it before use? If so, how long for a full charge? Thanks for any help.

    Hi, Lee. There is no need to charge it. Just plug it in and you’re ready to swipe cards.

    Will this work with iphone 2g, or only 3g/3gs?

    @Paveen Sorry, we don’t offer a card reader for the original iPhone.
